Jeff is a Bay Area native and proud to serve clients in courts throughout the region, including Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.

After attending Santa Clara University School of Law, Jeff originally pursued a non-traditional career path and worked as a business consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers for five years.  Jeff’s consulting clients included Bell Atlantic (n/k/a Verizon), DirectTV, ExxonMobil, Network Solutions and US West (n/k/a Lumen Technologies).

Eventually, the variety and excitement of working in the courtroom caused Jeff to return to the law.  He worked for several years at one of the largest firms in the U.S. (Am Law 200) focusing on environmental and toxic tort cases.  While employed in civil litigation, Jeff pursued a Masters in Law (LL.M.) degree in Trust, Estate and Probate Law at Golden Gate University.  He next worked as a solo attorney drafting estate plans and related instruments for clients including Trusts, Wills, Healthcare Directives and Durable Power of Attorney documents.

In 2018, Jeff was offered an opportunity to work at an East Bay boutique law firm focusing on trust and estate litigation.  Jeff eventually became a partner with this firm and appreciated the ability to combine his civil litigation background with his prior work serving clients by drafting estate plans.

Over the course of his career, Jeff has handled numerous cases from inception through trial, taken hundreds of depositions and participated in hundreds of settlement conferences and mediations.  Jeff prides himself on listening very carefully to the client’s goals, providing upfront and clear recommendations regarding possible outcomes, and being responsive to both client needs and changes in circumstances.
